Macular Degeneration

Dr Wallach teaches us about Macular Degeneration. Dr Wallach and Dr Pugh state that Macular Degeneration and Cataracts are the number 1 and number 5 reasons that people go blind, and they are caused by Free Radical damage. Dr Wallach and Dr Glidden teach that Free Radicals attack and cause tissue damage to the eyes, more so in people whose eyes are their weak spot, and this creates cell damage and inflammation to the cells of the eyes. These Free Radicals degenerate the cells with free radical oxidative damage and shrink the Macula. The eye is burning up with free Radical damage and the body tries to put out the "fire" of inflammation with Antioxidants, but it does not have enough Antioxidants because not enough of the correct foods are being consumed over time, plus the right nutrients are not being taken.
